Summer to September in the Studio
stirring!
This summer turned out to be quite busy with commissions for clients, which I am always so grateful for. Unfortunately, not a lot is ready to share yet, but I am excited to share when I can!
Private commissions included a few logos, manY portraits, MANY pigs, a few dogs (both drawn and sculpted!), proposals, and one drAmatic albeit short animation…
I made some progress on puppets and drawings and spent time learning about my new camera- not mastering just still very much learning.
I’m most excited to have finished (for now) the project, "Don't Poke the Bear, She is Stirring the Pot.” Spoiler, I am the bear.
I am still wrapping up a couple client projects for September, so I only stoke the fire for what October has in store…
Will it be spooky? Not so much this year!
Is my ambitious vision haunting and terrifying? Yes, and in the most thrilling way.
As long as my head stays on…
Grateful to be making for joy and love and important stories!
Also, that’s me on the Jelly Belly factory train because, we are on a journey, folks! And because I love Jelly Beans and visiting the factory was one of my favorite days this summer :,)
Thank you for reading.
